Bestiaires antérieurs? ah bon je savais pas qu'il y avait des bestiaires en 1ere ( à part les Carnets et Porteurs, mais ce ne sont pas des bestiaires) ni en 2eme.
Donc un vrai bestiaire pour une nouvelle édition, et reprenant la quasi-totalité des bestioles des éditions précédentes, je ne vois pas ce que ça a de choquant.
Et puis un copier-coller, je ne suis pas d'accord, ne serait-ce que pour la réactualisation des écoles et la mise à jour de la storyline.
Alors, comme je soupçonne Ding On-san de défendre sa paroisse, oui Créatures de Rokugan n'arrive pas à la cheville de Mythes et Animaux Fabuleux (qui ceci dit en passant est moins bien que le bestiaire de warhammer).

Celà étant sans rancune...

On the same day it went to the printers the first time (which we announced in another thread a while back), it also went to Todd for a final read-through. Todd made the decision to put the brakes on until we were absolutely sure that the manuscript was where it needed to be.

I feel comfortable in saying that this book has been edited more thoroughly than any in the L5R RPG's history. No less than seven people that I know of have gone over the entire thing with a fine-toothed comb and pulled out every single grammatical mistake, inconsistency, mis-wording and outright error that could be found. The resulting document was considerable! Just last night, I spent about five hours going over the manuscript and making notes about what needed to be changed in order to make sure that everything was perfect. Rodney the Layout Guy is going to be in the office on Thursday to implement my changes, as well as to address some problems here and there with things like font changes and header size inconsistences... all that jazz. And then, finally, on Friday, it will go back to the printer. This time for real!

So there you go. That's what's up with The Emerald Empire. The cover is amazing. The artwork throughout is fantastic. The final page count according to the PDFs I have is 272. As I said in another thread in another sub-forum, the rough percentage of mechanics to raw cultural information is 5%, so this sucker is all about Rokugan. Have you ever wanted to know what the main source of protein for samurai who live in the Dragon provinces was? This is your chance!

oui, 4 pages de mecaniques pures, c''est a dire en enchainant le tout sans les textes d'ambiance qui vonrt avec a chaque fois.
Avec l'enrobage, on arrive bien a 12-13 apges a vue de nez.

Subreptiscement dissimulée, et ce avec grande habileté, dans le dos de Muang Dan, il est possible d'observer une épée Coréenne de belle taille, utilisée pour trancher net les membres des mauvais auteurs de JDR...

Ben perso j'ai du mal à m'enthousiasmer sur Créatures de Rokugan par ex, mais l'Atlas là je l'attend de pied ferme.
