Falling stars
Preparation time : 10 minutes.
Duration : 120 minutes
Rank : Mirumoto bushi 2
Cost : 2
Special : need 3 in willpower and void.
Effect : can be useable with the daisho. The practicer get completly focussed on his strikes, loosing his view on the surroundings. Distracting the samourai from his action get really difficult (increase the TN of any feint, magical attempt or any action to lure him of his strike by 15) but the character is completly unaware, blind and deaf to anything outside of 6 feet. The dragon’s TN increase by 5 in melee and decrease by 10 in ranged attacks.

Heaven’s claw
Preparation time : 10 minutes.
Duration : 120 minutes
Rank : Bayushi bushi 3 and Bayushi saboteur 3
Cost : 4
Special : none.
Effect : can be used only with cutting weapons. You must assume the full defense stand for at least one turn (that the dance). This kata increase your TN by 10 for one target until you give the final strike of the attack. You then « dance » around your opponent, earning a + 5 to hit the target of your dance per turn (maximum + 15) until you strike. If the attack is sucessfull by more than 5 points, you cut some legs tendons and your opponent can’t stand up until he is healed. Your TN is reduced by 20 for others opponents. Peoples having already seen this kata are immunised to it.

Soul of the stone
Preparation time : 10 minutes.
Duration : 120 minutes

Special : earth 3.
Effect : You concentrate on his kata by keeping your palms on your tummy to concentrate your chi. You earn a bonus to your TN equal to your insight rank, but you cannot go faster than half your normal speed.
Void : one void point let you go at normal speed.
Sword of the sun

Special : honor rank of 2+
Effect : this kata is a complex move that makes the sword goes over your head and reflect the light of an big source to blind your opponent. One opponent at 10 feet make a perception roll against your agility X 5 or be blinded for 1 to 10 turns. Your damage are increased by 1k1 when striking a blinded target.
Void : none.
Palm of fury
Preparation time : 10 minutes.
Duration : 120 minutes
Rank : any Lion bushi school 1.

Special : jiujutsu 3
Effect : teached only by Akodo Iyasu de Mimura during the clan wars, this kata let you focus your chi for an unarmed strike. You increase the TN to hit your opponent by 10, but if succeed your opponent make a willpower roll TN 30 or being considered « crippled » for difference between the willpower roll and the TN rounds. The normal unarmed damage are inflicted.
Void : one void increase the TN of the willpower roll by 5.

Effect : your ability to walk in the shadows give you 2 additionnals rolled dice for stealth, but all your damage rolls for any fight you would do today without having time to rest will be reduced by 5.

Effect : this unarmed attack need to hit the flesh (targeted strike), and can’t be used if you have hold something in your hand. The target must made an earth roll TN equal to your insight X 5 or be immediatly out.
Void : one void point made the damage killing. Another void point increase the TN by 5.
Lotus kiss
Preparation time : 10 minutes.
Duration : 120 minutes

Effect : this unarmed strike need to hit a part of the body not covered by the armor (targeted strike). Create troubles in the chi of the target during insight rank X 5 rounds. The target is considered to have his wounds penalties increased by 2 ranks (but not get killed). This kata is stopped if you suffer more than 2 wounds ranks.

Thunder dagger

Effect : if you are using a wakizahi, ninja-to, aiguchi or tanto, you increase your initiative by 1k0 but you can’t any other actions than attack as long as you are using this kata : reduce your initiative by 1 to 10 if you stop attacking. One free raise for extra attack with aiguchi and tanto if you have one if each of your hand. If you use any other weapon during the kata, your damage roll are reduced by 1k0.

Special : willpower 3, teached only by Yoritomo Kumiko.
Effect : you have 2 free raises to resist all attempts to corrupt your soul, mind or body (like the taint of the spirit realms, the shadowland taint or the Shadow touch). This kata end if you ever accept the corruption wilingly.
Void : one void point give one one additionnal free raise for the whole lenght of the duration.
